ISO 12600

I bought a new camera before Christmas, a Canon 7D. You can set the ISO to H, which equals 12600 and thus take pictures of horses jumping inside in poorly lit riding halls and get a sharp picture! Very excited about this. Now I only need to figure out how to tweak the colours so I get rid of the yellow colour cast.

That doesn’t normally apply to me, I can search for hours without finding anything. Today however I’ve found my passport, the vouchers I’ve been looking for for quite some time, my Diners card, my TOBB card (member since 1947), my Oysters card (which I might need before Christmas) and several single socks. If I can match the single socsk to other single socks, that’d make the find even better .-)

Fancy wallpaper

A polite little man from Poland just fixed the wall in my kitchen so that it is possible to see the pipe and check it for cracks. While he was tearing down the walls, the old wallpaper came to light. I’m quite happy I don’t have it anymore. It’s a bit too fancy for me.

My flatmate is dogsitting for a couple of days, and since she’s at a meeting right now, the dog is following me around instead of her. It thinks I should sit in the sofa all the time, so it can sleep on a pillow next to me. Doing the laundry or getting a cup of tea is evil. Very evil. Of course, what I should do (in the dogs opinion at least) is take her for a walk and feed her ham

No show jumping today

They moved the show-jumping competition inside today, don’t know why as it hasn’t been raining that much. Taking pictures inside when the weather is quite good feels a bit to pointless so I will wash floors instead.

Eva and Pedro

I spent a couple of hours watching horses jumping today. Not a lot of horses and riders, in the 120 there were only 4 of them but as Eva and Pedro won, that’s quite OK Pedro looked quite pleased with himself afterwards.

Lita the miniature schnauzer is learning how to ride. Hilman the horse doens’t really mind, but I don’t think we’ll see Lita taking on riding all on her own any time soon as she has too short legs.

It’s snowing. Way out of line even for the weather in Trøndelag. It’s been snowing for days actually, even though it’s several degrees above zero. It doesn’t turn the world white again, but it is very annoying and unnecessary. Luckily, my care still has winter tyres. Sometimes laziness is a good thing.
